Democritus and Aristotle (group 1)

The Billard Ball Model
-Was the first model of an atom. Described as indivisible.
Democritus- (ca. 460 BCE- ca. 370 BCE) was an ancient greek philosopher born in Abdera, Thrace, Greece. he is a pupil of Leucippus, the man who discovered the existence of an atom. He proposed the Billiard Ball Model which represents an atom which was characterised as indivisible.
Aristotle- (384 BC – 322 BC) was a Greek philosopher, a student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great.
